Invitations to apply issued for the Masters Graduate, PhD Graduate and Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker streams

On October 20, 2021, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued invited 546 immigration candidate to apply to candidates in the Expression of Interest system pool who may qualify for the Masters Graduate and PhD Graduate streams.

The OINP also issued four targeted invitations to apply to candidates who may qualify for the federal Economic Mobility Pathways Project under the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream.

You may apply to these streams if you received an invitation to apply on October 20, 2021.

If you received an invitation to apply, you don’t need to contact the program.

Attention Masters Graduate applicants:

To prevent delays with the processing of your application, please ensure you provide the following to support each scoring factor for which you received points in your expression of interest:

Canadian work experience: NOC skill level

  • employment/work experience reference letter(s) from Canadian employer(s) with description of job duties
  • In addition to employment/work experience reference letter(s), you may also submit supporting documents that describe your duties and responsibilities including job descriptions, performance reviews and job advertisements.

Canadian work experience: duration

  • employment/work experience reference letter(s) from Canadian employer(s) outlining dates of employment and hours worked per week
    • full-time work experience means working in a job with at least 30 hours of paid work in a week that amounts to at least 1,560 hours of paid work in one year
    • part-time equivalent work experience means:
      • working in one job for at least 15 hours per week, for two years that amounts to at least 1,560 hours in that two-year period, or
      • working in more than one job for at least 30 hours per week, for one year, that amounts to at least 1,560 hours of paid work in that one year period

Canadian education experience

  • any other Canadian degree(s), diploma(s) or certificate(s) that you have completed

Knowledge of official languages

  • any other language test(s) obtained within the last two years from an approved language testing service (IELTSCELPIPTEF Canada, TCF Canada)
