Ontario has officially launched its first immigration selection rounds of 2026 through the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP). On February 2, 2026, the province conducted six targeted draws, issuing a total of 1,825 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for provincial nomination.

Physicians under the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream invited

On February 2, 2026, we issued 129 targeted invitations to apply to potential candidates in the Expression of Interest system pool who may qualify for the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream who work as physicians in NOC codes 31100, 31101 and 31102.

Candidates only received an invitation if they had a score of 33 and above, and a job offer in one of the following National Occupational Classification (NOC) codes:

NOC 31100 - Specialists in clinical and laboratory medicine
NOC 31101 - Specialists in surgery
NOC 31102 - General practitioners and family physicians



Employer Job Offer streams: Regional Economic Development through Immigration (REDI) candidates invited

On February 2, 2026, we issued 47 targeted invitations to apply to candidates in the Expression of Interest system pool who may qualify for the REDI pilot under the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker, International Student or In-Demand Skills stream and who are currently residing in Canada.

The targeted communities include the following Census Divisions: Lanark, and Leeds and Grenville.

Please note that as of July 2, 2025, all applications for the approval of an employment position under the Employer Job Offer streams must be submitted via the Employer Portal. Only candidates whose employers have submitted a job offer through the Employer Portal, and have successfully registered an expression of interest, will be considered.

If the OINP has selected your expression of interest, both you and your employer will be notified via email. Your employer may then submit an application for approval of an employment position directly though the Employer Portal, and you may submit your application and make the payment. Please refer to the June 12 program update and the Employer Portal user guide for more details.

Candidates only received an invitation under the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream if they had a score of 44 and above, and a job offer in one of the following National Occupational Classification (NOC) codes:

NOC 12200 - Accounting technicians and bookkeepers
NOC 21222 - Information systems specialists
NOC 21231 - Software engineers and designers
NOC 31301 - Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses
NOC 33102 - Nurse aides, orderlies and patient service associates
NOC 42202 - Early childhood educators and assistants

Candidates only received an invitation under the Employer Job Offer: International Student stream if they had a score of 69 and above, and a job offer in one of the following National Occupational Classification (NOC) codes:

NOC 12111 - Health information management occupations
NOC 12200 - Accounting technicians and bookkeepers
NOC 13111 - Legal administrative assistants
NOC 22232 - Occupational health and safety specialists
NOC 22310 - Electrical and electronics engineering technologists and technicians
NOC 32101 - Licensed practical nurses
NOC 33102 - Nurse aides, orderlies and patient service associates
NOC 33103 - Pharmacy technical assistants and pharmacy assistants
NOC 42201 - Social and community service workers
NOC 42202 - Early childhood educators and assistants
NOC 52120 - Graphic designers and illustrators

Candidates only received an invitation under the Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills stream if they had a score of 34 and above, and a job offer in one of the following National Occupational Classification (NOC) codes:

NOC 44101 - Home support workers, housekeepers and related occupations
NOC 75101 - Material handlers
NOC 94100 - Machine operators, mineral and metal processing
NOC 94111 - Plastics processing machine operators
NOC 94140 - Process control and machine operators, food and beverage processing

You may apply to one of the Employer Job Offer streams if you received an invitation to apply on February 2, 2026. Eligible profiles must have been created and attested by January 28, 2026, 11:59 p.m.



Employer Job Offer streams: candidates in healthcare occupations and early childhood educators and assistants invited

On February 2, 2026, we issued 1,649 targeted invitations to apply to potential candidates in the Expression of Interest system pool who may qualify for the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker or International Student stream who work in priority health occupations or in NOC 42202 – Early childhood educators and assistants, and who are currently residing in Canada.

Please note that as of July 2, 2025, all applications for the approval of an employment position under the Employer Job Offer streams must be submitted via the Employer Portal. Only candidates whose employers have submitted a job offer through the Employer Portal, and have successfully registered an expression of interest, will be considered.

If the OINP has selected your expression of interest, both you and your employer will be notified via email. Your employer may then submit an application for approval of an employment position directly though the Employer Portal, and you may submit your application and make the payment. NOC 31302 - Nurse practitioners
NOC 31303 - Physician assistants, midwives and allied health professionals
NOC 32101 - Licensed practical nurses
NOC 33102 - Nurse aides, orderlies and patient service associates
NOC 42202 – Early childhood educators and assistants

You may apply to one of the Employer Job Offer streams if you received an invitation to apply on February 2, 2026. Eligible profiles must have been created and attested by January 28, 2026, 11:59 p.m.
