Express Entry Draw #168

Nov 25, 2020

In the November 25 Express Entry draw for immigration to Canada, 5,000 candidates will be issued an Invitation to Apply (ITA), making this one of the two largest draws in Express Entry history (the other one happening one week ago on November 18). The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score cut-off threshold for this draw was 469 points. The tie-breaking rule for this draw was applied to profiles at 469 points submitted after October 15, 2020 at 08:50:10 UTC.

This is an all-program draw, meaning that candidates in the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Canadian Experience Class (CEC), Federal Skilled Trades (FST) programs, including Provincial Nominees, were considered.

Express Entry draws usually happen once every two weeks, but only one week has passed between the last draw and this one. As well, both of the last two draws have issued 5,000 invitations. These two factors have combined to create downward pressure on the CRS score cutoff, driving it below 470 for the first time in months.
