Alberta New Immigration Stream

Starting March 1, 2024, foreign nationals residing in Alberta and employed in the tourism and hospitality sector can seek immigration through the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) via its new Tourism and Hospitality Stream.

To qualify, applicants must:

- Have worked in the industry for a minimum of six months.
- Hold a valid full-time, non-seasonal job offer from an authorized employer in the relevant sector.
- Be already settled in Alberta.

This stream will accept applications starting March 1, 2024, with a limited quota. The AAIP will prioritize the processing of these applications alongside other important initiatives.
